My role is to represent you as a constituent within the Burnley Constituency (Burnley, Padiham and Brierfield), regardless of your politics. Not sure if you’re a constituent? Check  here. 

If you’re concerned about a local or national issue, I can make representations on your behalf to the government, Burnley Borough Council, Pendle Council, Lancashire County Council or other agencies and will keep you informed about your case. Surgeries:

I hold regular surgeries at different community venues around Burnley, Padiham and Brierfield. These are posted beforehand on social media with the time and location. If you would like to attend a surgery, please contact my constituency office on 01282 216398 or email oliver.ryan.mp@parliament.uk so we can assure you a slot.  

Casework response time:

I receive a significant volume of communication every day and I will reply as soon as possible.  

I aim to reply to urgent casework within 1 week, all other casework within 2 weeks and policy issues / campaigns within 28 days. Please note however this may take longer when waiting for a reply from a third party. 

Acceptable behaviour policy:

I understand that many constituents are often upset and angry about the issues they have raised with me. If that anger escalates into aggression towards my team, I consider that unacceptable. Any violence or abuse towards my team will not be tolerated. Full policy here.
